The World Heart Federation (WHF) is again joining forces with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) for ACC.27 Together With WCC, taking place from 10–12 April 2027 in Houston, Texas.
Bringing together the global cardiovascular community, ACC.27-WCC will offer three days of science, education and collaboration, connecting cardiovascular professionals from around the world to share the latest research, exchange knowledge and advance cardiovascular health and care.
With more than 200 scientific sessions, 4,500 abstracts and cases, and 15,000 participants expected, ACC.27-WCC will provide a truly global platform for cardiovascular science and action.

Abstract and case submissions are open across a broad range of cardiovascular topics, offering researchers and healthcare professionals the opportunity to showcase their work on an international stage.

Accepted research will form an important part of the ACC.27-WCC scientific programme.

The World Heart Federation (WHF) will offer a limited number of travel grants to support researchers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to attend ACC.27 Together With WCC in Houston, Texas.
The grants aim to enable participation from diverse regions, support high-quality scientific contributions and strengthen global collaboration in cardiovascular health.
The WHF Travel Grant Programme is made possible through the generous support of Dr Wael Al Mahmeed, member of the WHF Science Committee. WHF gratefully acknowledges his commitment to supporting the participation of researchers from around the world and fostering the next generation of cardiovascular leaders.
Eligibility
Los solicitantes deben:
- Be based in a low- or middle-income country (LMIC)
- Submit an abstract to ACC.27 Together With WCC
- Be the presenting author of an abstract accepted for presentation at the Congress
Eligible applicants will be considered based on the scientific ranking of their accepted abstract.
What the Grant Supports
Travel grant support may include a contribution towards:
- International travel to and from Houston
- Alojamiento durante el congreso
- Inscripción al congreso
The value and administration of the grants will be confirmed when successful recipients are notified.
How to Apply
To apply for a WHF Travel Grant, applicants should submit:
- A copy of their abstract and proof of acceptance for presentation at ACC.27 Together With WCC
- A brief biography of the presenting author, including their current institution and country of residence
Applications should be sent to science@worldheart.org by 30 January 2027.
Only complete applications will be considered. Applicants must be the presenting author of an accepted abstract and be based in a low- or middle-income country (LMIC).
Travel grants are limited and competitive, and successful applicants will be selected based on the quality of their accepted abstract and the WHF travel grant eligibility criteria.
Successful applicants will be notified in February 2027 and will be required to attend ACC.27 Together With WCC in person and present their accepted abstract.
