In the vibrant city of Coimbatore, AJK College of Arts and Science, an esteemed autonomous institution accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC, joined hands with the National Service Scheme to organize a remarkable World Heart Day celebration on September 29, 2023. The theme for World Heart Day in 2023 is "Use Heart, Know Heart." This facilitates our discussion of the significance of a healthy heart. This day can be used to raise awareness of the value of a healthy heart and the steps we can take to keep it that way. Maintaining a healthy heart is highly dependent on leading a healthy lifestyle and inspired our commitment to holistic well-being.
Our impactful event went beyond awareness campaigns, as we prioritized the essence of mindfulness and heart-healthy living. We engaged our students in invigorating Mindfulness Meditation sessions, fostering emotional well-being and stress reduction.
Additionally, we extended our outreach to the Navakkarai villagers, delivering insightful nutrition awareness programs. These initiatives aimed to empower the community with essential knowledge for maintaining a heart-healthy diet and lifestyle.
