As the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA79) convenes in Geneva, the World Heart Federation is hosting a series of events to address the global burden of cardiovascular disease.
Las enfermedades cardiovasculares siguen siendo la principal causa de muerte en el mundo y se cobran más de 20 millones de vidas al año, la mayoría en países de renta baja y media. A pesar de la eficacia demostrada de las estrategias de prevención y tratamiento, persisten obstáculos como la financiación insuficiente y las lagunas políticas. Nuestras sesiones explorarán soluciones audaces para colmar estas lagunas, desde el fortalecimiento de los planes de acción nacionales hasta la ampliación del acceso a tratamientos que salvan vidas.
