Check your visa pathway early

Delegates, attendees and speakers who are not being paid to contribute at the event may be eligible for an eVisitor (subclass 651), Visitor (subclass 600) Business stream visa, or ETA (subclass 601), depending on passport eligibility.

Speakers, sponsors and exhibitors who will be working or paid to contribute may instead need a Temporary Activity (subclass 408) or Temporary Work (subclass 400) visa.

Invitation letters: available through the registration dashboard after registration is completed, payment is finalised where applicable, and passport details are entered.
Additional requirements: biometrics, health and character requirements may apply depending on your circumstances.

Travel to Perth

Getting there and getting around

Perth is accessible by air from across Australia and overseas. Perth Airport operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is linked to the city by road and rail.

  • Train services connect Airport Central Station and Perth City
  • Regular bus services operate between the airport and the city
  • A free terminal transfer bus runs between T1/T2 and T3/T4
  • Car hire, taxis and rideshare are readily available
  • Perth also offers free CAT shuttle buses around the city centre

In the city, delegates can also use trains, buses and ferries, with Perth Central Station and Barrack Street Jetty serving as key transport points.
