Even to this day, women are still told that it's stress, anxiety, or “nothing serious.” That kind of gaslighting in healthcare is outdated.#WomensDay is almost here, and we're using the opportunity to remind everyone that progress means listening to women, believing women, and improving how women's health is understood and treated.Heart disease is NOT a "man's disease".

Today is #WorldObesityDay.Once considered an issue confined to high-income countries, obesity is now rising fast in nearly every country, and it's a major risk for heart disease. In fact, heart disease deaths caused by obesity have doubled over the past 30+ years.Our #WorldHeartReport 2025 warned that stigma and inadequate treatment are preventing those with obesity from getting the care they need, fueling the rise of cardiovascular disease worldwide.
