Travel
Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is well-connected to major international destinations. The city is served by Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), which is approximately 30 kilometres from the city centre. Many airlines offer direct flights to Abu Dhabi from various parts of the world.
There are several transportation options available to reach your hotel from Abu Dhabi International Airport:
Taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport. The journey to the hotel takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Airport Transfer: To conveniently arrange an airport transfer to or from your hotel, kindly reach out to [email protected] via email. Please provide the following details: your flight information, the name of your hotel, and the number of individuals in your party. The transfer fee is AED 250 for travel between Abu Dhabi airport and any hotel in Abu Dhabi, or AED 450 for travel between Dubai airport and any hotel in Abu Dhabi. For larger groups, we can also organize bus transfers.
Car Rental: Renting a car is a convenient option for getting around Abu Dhabi. Several car rental companies operate at the airport, and it provides flexibility for exploring the city at your own pace.
Public transportation in Abu Dhabi is well-developed, and there are several options for getting around the city:
Taxis: Taxis are a popular and convenient mode of transportation in Abu Dhabi. They are readily available and operate 24/7. Taxis are metered, and fares are reasonably priced.
Buses: Abu Dhabi has an extensive bus network that covers most areas of the city. The buses are air-conditioned and provide a cost-effective way to travel. The Department of Transport (DoT) operates the bus services, and you can find route maps and schedules on their official website.
Metro: Abu Dhabi’s metro system, known as the Abu Dhabi Metro, is currently under construction and is expected to be operational by 2025. However, it’s worth checking for any updates closer to your travel dates.
