Department of Cardiology, Dow University Hospital arranged an awareness walk and seminar within the premises of the Hospital. The event was well attended by students, Nurses, Paramedics, doctors and the general public. Speakers highlighted the importance of preventive measures and controlling the risk factors to keep everyone safe from heart disease. Vice-chancellor Dow University Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saeed Quraishy was the chief guest. He told that the cause of every fifth death in Pakistan is just because of coronary artery disease that is preventable. Dr. Muhammad Tariq Farman HOD Cardiology also spoke at the seminar.
