WHD23 celebrations in the Maldives

The center i worked in Maldives which is an urban primary health care center located in the capital city, Male' Maldives conducted a health screening for general public to celebrate world heart day 2023. all the doctors nurses, public health officials and administrative staff engaged in conducting the activity which was held on 6th october 2023 at Dhamanaveshi. Around 30 people attended the screening, and 8 people identified with presence of risk factors such as obesity, hypertension , smoking etc. they were guided with life style modification and review at internists at the earliest for further evaluation and management
