Wear Your Heat on Your Sleeve

JSW Steel, Salem Works followed World Heart Day under the theme “Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve” from 27 September to 29 September, 2022. The focus was on spreading awareness on reducing the risk factors to the heart, to promote mental wellbeing and emotional happiness.
To highlight the theme, a wrist band campaign was carried out by the OHC. The wrist bands contained facts on the heart and the means to maintain a healthy heart.
The employees and associates responded enthusiastically to the innovative idea and wore the wrist bands to express solidarity to fight heart diseases and develop a healthy community.
In addition to these, awareness talks were conducted with pamphlets distribution, display of fact sheets at prominent locations and photo stands were put up along with heart shaped balloons to create a carnival atmosphere at the workplace.
Stress has shown to double the risk to the heart. The heart day activities were aimed to educate the employees and associates in an entertaining way on the importance of conserving a healthy heart for a better life every day.
