WHD 23 celebrations in San Marino
During the week in which “international heart day” was held, We promoted a wide range of initiatives directed to the whole population of San Marino Republic. We organized demonstrations and brief courses on BLSD to promote “early Emergency response” culture among primary and secondary school students. We discussed extensively with those young Members of our community about cardiovascular prevention and its civic impact on society. We also held formal BLSD courses handing off official certifications to students over 18 years of age and any other adult willing to volounteer, including many Members of state police and firefighting squads. We held press conferences regarding gender differences in cardiovascular disease and meetings with the population regarding the impact of NOACS on public Health. We concluded this week so dense with events with a charity dinner to raise funds directed to the acquisition of AEDs that will be donated to the population. During the whole week the three medieval towers, worldwide famous feature of our ancient republic, were completely lit with Red light, to raise consciousness about cv diseases.
