As the Turkish Heart Foundation, we carried out various activities to draw attention to 'Cardiovascular Diseases', which ranks first among the life-threatening health problems in the world and in our country, and to ensure social awareness on September 29, 'World Heart Day', where awareness and information activities against cardiovascular diseases are carried out simultaneously all over the world under the leadership of the World Heart Federation.
1. The video of the September 29 World Heart Day opening speech was published on our website, YouTube channel and social media accounts.
2. Announcements and heart health messages related to World Heart Day were effectively shared on social media accounts.
3. We had the opportunity to convey our messages with informative brochures at our stand at the event organized by Istanbul Şişli District Health Directorate in Nişantaşı Mıstık Park.
4. The Korean Festival, organized by World-OKTA ISTANBUL (World Korean Trade Association) for the benefit of our Foundation, was held with an intense participation.
Foundation President Kenan Güven made a speech drawing attention to heart health.
Information brochures were distributed at our Foundation's stand.
5. During the Beşiktaş- Eyüpspor and Galatasaray-Kasımpaşa matches played in Istanbul in the Turkish Football League, our banner with the slogan “We Protect Your Heart” was carried by the football players on the field and we had the opportunity to convey our messages reminding the people watching the matches in the stadium and on their screens about heart health.
6. In addition, during the Beşiktaş- Eyüpspor football match played in Istanbul, a 10-second animated image prepared with our slogan “We Protect Your Heart” was broadcast on the led screens on the sidelines.
7. On the night of September 29, Fatih Sultan Mehmet and Yavuz Sultan Selim suspension bridges connecting Europe and Asia in Istanbul were illuminated with the color “Red” to raise awareness about heart health.
